The Edge of Eternity is committed to making its mission and articles usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology, keyboard navigation, magnification, zoom, or read-aloud tools.
Accessibility goal
The site is designed with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 Level AA principles in mind. That is an ongoing design and testing goal, not a claim that every page, browser combination, plugin, or linked third-party service is fully conformant in every circumstance.
Measures built into the site
- Semantic page landmarks, headings, lists, links, and native controls
- A keyboard-accessible skip link and visible keyboard focus
- Native expandable FAQ controls that remain usable without JavaScript
- Layouts intended to reflow with browser zoom and operating-system magnification
- Text alternatives and social-image descriptions where the site can provide them
- Predictable navigation, breadcrumbs, search placement, and article structure
- Content structured to work with browser read-aloud features and screen readers
Compatibility
The site is intended to work with current browsers and common assistive technologies. Visitors may use browser zoom, Microsoft Magnifier or another magnification tool, screen readers, keyboard navigation, and browser read-aloud features according to their own needs and settings.
Third-party limitations
A linked website, donation service, email application, browser extension, or other third-party tool is controlled by its provider. Its accessibility may differ from this site. The Edge of Eternity cannot change the interface of an external service, but the site aims to use clear links and ordinary web standards when sending visitors to one.
Ongoing review
Accessibility is reviewed during theme revisions, content work, and live testing. The site does not operate a general public contact form. This statement should be updated when the site’s accessibility methods, known limitations, or external services materially change.
